7.9-magnitude earthquake jolts Turkey and Syria, killing 95 people

According to the US Geological Survey, the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.9.

 The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Nardagi area of ​​Gazi-Antup province, south of Turkey, while the depth of the earthquake was 17.9 km.

 According to Turkish media, the strongest shocks of the earthquake were felt for a minute, people came out on the streets due to the shocks.


 Earthquake tremors were also felt in Cyprus, Greece, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

 According to the French news agency, 53 people have been killed by the earthquake in Turkey, while many people have been injured and dozens of people are feared to be buried under the debris.
 According to AFP, the earthquake has also wreaked havoc in Syria, where 42 people have been killed and many injured due to the collapse of buildings.
